There are a number of the key accessibility issues that have been identified through research and web audits. The list was developed from information resulting from the Museums, Libraries and Archives and a study by the Disability Right Commission in 2004, 'The Web: Access and Inclusion for Disabled People' . In addition the findings from the eTen support project Tenuta were included. This is not an exhaustive list and you can find more information about other accessibility issues by reading the guidelines [link to Guidelines] and standards that are available.
For each of the issues listed below, we have provided information about why they are important to address, what specific WCAG guidelines they address, how to address the issue, how to test your site for compliance.
