Why it Matters
Navigation is the process of planning and controlling the movement of a user throughout a website. It is important to help them find what they are looking for, can return to where they have previously been, and to ensure they don't feel lost.

How To...
Use consistent navigation - keep menus in the same place on each page, present links in the same way throughout your website. If your website is large consider if breadcrumbs, a site map, or search functionality would be useful to your users. Use page titles liberally.
